Dar Jasmine, Chefchaouen, Morocco: hotel review

During a recent visit to Morocco, my adventure took me to the enchanting blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, where I was lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Dar Jasmine hotel. Nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains, overlooking the old medina, it really is the most breathtaking setting that made for a truly unforgettable stay.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel's charming ambiance and warm hospitality. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was unforgettable. From bringing me a refreshing mint tea on my arrival to giving me tips and recommendations for Chefchaouen, they were always on hand to help and their genuine warmth made me feel right at home.

The hotel itself is luxurious and elegant, with ornate decor and intricate details. My room was both cosy and refined, with traditional touches and modern amenities. Even more of a treat than the incredibly comfy bed was the private balcony overlooking the medina - the perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee.

The serene gardens were the perfect place to relax and marvel at the beauty of Chefchaouen's iconic blue buildings, and with the sun shining I couldn’t resist a dip in the hotel's incredible infinity pool with spectacular panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.

One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast - the best I had on my trip - with a whole array of delicious, home cooked food. The care that had gone into preparing each element was evident in the beautiful presentation and wonderful flavours. I have no doubt that dinner here would be just as fantastic too.

My stay at Dar Jasmine was a truly magical experience that exceeded all expectations. From the charming accommodations and warm hospitality to the stunning views and unbeatable location, it was the perfect base for exploring the enchanting city of Chefchaouen. I can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise!
