AI colour analysis

Colour analysis has been having a moment online – the 1980s trend sweeping back onto social media, where everyone suddenly knows whether they're a Soft Autumn or a Cool Winter. Traditionally, getting your colours done meant going to a stylist (and spending a fair bit of cash), but now people are using AI to figure it out themselves – and it's actually super simple. Here’s how to do it yourself:

  • Take a selfie in natural light – no filters, just you and a window.

  • Upload that photo into a design tool like Photoshop, Canva, or even a free hex code picker online. Use the eyedropper tool to get the exact hex codes for your skin, hair, and eyes.

  • Open ChatGPT and paste in those hex codes, clearly labelling which one is which.

  • Ask it to analyse your colouring and identify your seasonal palette. From there, you can get more specific – like which greens will flatter you, whether you should wear gold or silver jewellery, or which lipstick shades will suit you best.

Annabel is a Light Summer!

It’s a surprisingly helpful way to get that polished, put-together look – no stylist (or dramatic scarf draping) required.
