AI colour analysis
Colour analysis has been having a moment online – the 1980s trend sweeping back onto social media, where everyone suddenly knows whether they're a Soft Autumn or a Cool Winter. Traditionally, getting your colours done meant going to a stylist (and spending a fair bit of cash), but now people are using AI to figure it out themselves – and it's actually super simple. Here’s how to do it yourself:
Take a selfie in natural light – no filters, just you and a window.
Upload that photo into a design tool like Photoshop, Canva, or even a free hex code picker online. Use the eyedropper tool to get the exact hex codes for your skin, hair, and eyes.
Open ChatGPT and paste in those hex codes, clearly labelling which one is which.
Ask it to analyse your colouring and identify your seasonal palette. From there, you can get more specific – like which greens will flatter you, whether you should wear gold or silver jewellery, or which lipstick shades will suit you best.
Annabel is a Light Summer!
It’s a surprisingly helpful way to get that polished, put-together look – no stylist (or dramatic scarf draping) required.
