Our updated ambassador programme

Spread the word about The Know - and get rewarded in the process!

We wouldn’t be where we are today without our fiercely loyal community, who share our belief that everyone should have access to free, high quality journalism that leaves people feeling informed and hopeful about what’s going on in the world.

Now, we need your help to reach even more people who might love our newsletters!

Every time you get a friend, family member or colleague to sign up for our newsletter using your unique code - which you’ll find at the bottom of every email - you’ll start picking up prizes…

The prizes!

We’ve partnered with some truly incredible brands. From fashion to food and everything in between, there’s something for every reader. Even better? These handpicked brands are all B Corps, meaning that they share the sustainable and ethical values of The Know community.

1 REFERRAL = A SHOUTOUT

We’ll give you a shoutout in our newsletter and on Instagram, tagging your social media profile if you want us to.

3 REFERRALS = DONATE A MEAL

We’ll donate a meal for a child in need in the UK through our charity partner, Magic Breakfast.

7 REFERRALS = A STICKER SHEET

We’ll send you a sheet of our super chic stickers. They’re perfect for your laptop, notebooks, suitcases and anywhere else you can think of!

10 REFERRALS = GRUBBY RECIPE KITS

We’ll send you two free Grubby recipe kits, no strings attached! These quality plant-based meals take under 30 minutes to make and prioritise seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients.

The Know readers can also get 40% off their first box and 20% off the rest of their first month using the code: THEKNOW.

15 REFERRALS = CRU KAFE DISCOVERY PACK

We’ll send you a CRU Kafe Discovery Pack (worth £24!), featuring a selection of 100% organic, Fairtrade-certified premium coffee blends (you choose between coffee beans, ground coffee or pods).

CRU Kafe’s premium coffee is sourced from all over the world, exclusively from farms which pay a fair wage and work hard to reinvest in their communities. We love!

20 REFERRALS - £30 HURR GIFT CARD

We’ll send you a £30 gift card to spend at the *incredible* fashion rental platform HURR. We love this female-founded, super-sustainable company, which gives you access to all the latest designs and trends for a fraction of their ordinary price.

Fashion rental is a wonderful way to elevate your wardrobe - whether for a formal event or the everyday - and play your part in the circular economy.

40 REFERRALS - THE KNOW SWEATSHIRT

To thank you for spreading the word about The Know, we’ll send you one of our ethically-produced, eco-friendly sweatshirts.

Are you a student? On top of our regular scheme, we’re also looking for our first crop of student ambassadors. If you’re interested in finding out more, email us at hello@theknowmedia.co.

FAQs

  • At the bottom of each of our newsletters, you’ll find your own personalised referral code. Once your friends, family or colleagues sign up to The Know using your code, you’ll start getting rewarded!

We suggest you copy and paste the code into chats, WhatsApp groups, Slack channels or even share it on Instagram stories :)

  • Yes! Any referrals you’ve already made will be carried over to the new programme.

  • Again, yes! If this applies to you, there’s no need to do anything - we’ll contact you directly with details about claiming your rewards.

  • Every time you hit a milestone, you’ll receive an email which asks whether you’d like to claim your reward. You can then let us know which address you’d like us to send your reward to. In the case of the sweatshirts, you can also let us know which design and size you’d like.

  • Unfortunately, we are only able to send rewards to readers in the UK. If you’re based outside of the UK and would like to claim these rewards, please do reach out to us at hello@theknowmedia.co - we may be able to arrange to send your reward to a UK-based friend or family member on your behalf.

  • Please drop us a message at hello@theknowmedia.co - we’re here to help!
