Here at The Know, we like to think we’re making the news a bit more bearable - easier to understand, easier to see the good, easier to take action.
Over the years, we’ve had readers write in asking how they can contribute to our mission. We’ve never had an easy answer to this question, as we truly believe that everyone should have access to free, trusted journalism that informs, uplifts and prioritises facts over fear.
That being said, it is important to normalise supporting journalism you love.
That’s why we’re introducing friends of The Know - a new way to support our work and help us keep going and growing. For £5 a month, you’ll be directly responsible for ensuring that everyone can access high quality, independent journalism.

Don’t worry, our content is not moving behind a paywall - we’re just asking readers who can afford to do so for their help to keep us going. And friends of The Know can cancel at any time, so there’s no need to worry if your financial situation changes.
